Making Art From Real Moments

A beautiful photo shoot in the West Village. The crisp winter air was just warm enough for us to enjoy our photo walk near Washington Square Park and the Washington Mews. Don’t you just love the happiness in their smiles and their love as the look at each other? Such real moments captured here with these lovely clients. And I appreciated their patience so much while I composed some of these creative angles including a reflection through the prism glass. I’m getting faster and faster at finding these perfect angles. I want to be quick for my clients in order to not take them out of their moment. That’s also why I rarely use outdoor lighting anymore unless its absolutely necessary or unless I have time to get extra creative. I’ve learned how to embrace the natural light and how to use it to my advantage. What do you think about the natural lighting in these photos?
